The program's topic for the week doesn't claim to be a debate, although there were a few Mormon callers in to the guests on the program. All of the Mormon callers said that the Mormon doctrines presented on the program were accurate and forthrightly presented.
Listen for yourself. It's free.

I haven't listened to "Bible Answer Man" much since leaving
Los Angeles.
But I do remember a couple of times Rich Abanes was guest, discussing
his book "One Nation Under Gods".
IIRC, about one-third of the air time was given to Mormon callers
disagreeing with Abane's book/themes.
And while Hank can be (IHMO) a tad curt, the atmosphere of the
disagreements was more collegial and gentlemanly than some
"get down in the gutter" debates I've witnessed in academia.
Callers in support of Mormonism were given PLENTY of airtime to
air their disagreements with Abanes/Hannegraaf.
They got a lot more time for explications and a lot less grief
than Mitt gets over his Mormonism from the MSM reporters/journalists.
The above is simply my own fallible opinion; I'm sure some folks
will heartily disagree with me.

Is there a recording of it on the Internet to listen to?
