I do know some Hebrew (I had 10 years of it), and the NAB translation of the Psalms at least strikes me as, well, “original.”
So what does that have to do with anything I've posted? No where have I critisized the NAB on this thread. All I did was confuse it with the NASB in an earlier post. And even with this error, I was mistakenly praising the NAB! From what little I've read of my wife's "New Catholic Edition", I have no problem with it and would choose it over the NIV in a heartbeat if that was the only choice I had. If it is indicitave of other Catholic Bible translations then I'd say they are being well served.
