Hey Alex, how many times has your half-baked law been invoked against your buddies and in favor of a Catholic poster?
I'm thinking it's a number not unadjacent to zero.
I hereby invoke Murphy's Law.
Murphy's Law states that "Irving's Law is not a symmetric equation."
Irving's Law has three components - Phariseeism, "Jack Chick"-ism, and Anti-Semitism. IMO the real question is not whether the "invocations" should be subject to some kind of religious quota, but rather how many times someone on FR has actually quoted/referenced a Jack Chick publication favorably, in contrast to the number of times Catholics have accused people of doing so w/o evidence.
If FRCatholics are certain that someone is using/quoting/posting Jack Chick material (w/ or w/o crediting the source), they should ping the Religion Moderator to those posts, since the RM has already ruled that Jack Chick is a hate monger and that his material is/will be banned from FR. A failure to back up a Phariseeism/Antisemitism/Jack-Chick-ism claim is IMO a tacit admission that the accuser has run out of intelligent responses and can't continue the debate, hence Irving's Law.
