Now evangelical theologians aren’t allowed to come to any new conclusions about the truths in Scripture, and they’re not allowed to find truths outside of Scripture. As a result, he said, they’re engaged in “private language games and increasingly detailed minutia” and “we’re not seeing work on broad cultural themes.”
He's been in egghead land so long that he's become conceited about how much smarter than us poor old footsoldiers are him and his egghead buddies.
I can't think of too many people I know in any evangelical denomination who want to believe things that are wrong, or who refuse to believe things that are fact.
