The Book of Mormon spoke of Joseph Smith being instrumental in the restoration of God’s Church in the latter day. If Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, then his translation and corrections to the Bible are within his calling as such.

Again, it comes down to did Joseph Smith see God and Jesus in the First Vision and is the Book of Mormon a second witness of Christ. If these are not true, then the LDS claim to divine authority fails. The only way to know for oneself is to study the Book of Mormon and ask in sincere prayer and faith if it is not true. The answer will come.

Asked of God and began reading the BofM, and the result has been rejected by Mormonism Apologists at FR. And mine is not the only negative answer that the Apologists have rejected. If it doesn’t fit the hive template it is not of the hive don’tchaknow.
