Mormons refer to the Catholic Church as the “whore of babylon”. The Catholic Church holds the highest level of disdain in the mormon church. Does that tell you how they feel about it?
Further, EVERY other church on this planet is dead wrong, in their eyes, and according to their founding leadership.
But, they will tell you that they are tolerant.....uh-huh.
That's nothing. In the Lutheran Book of Concord we equate the office of the pope with the Antichrist. Let's see, whore or Antichrist. I think we win.
Well, people can think you're doctrinally wrong and yet still be tolerant in this sense: that they rely on persuasion rather than coercion to try to put you on the right track. That's true of most of the various religious groups in America --- they disagree with you, but they're tolerant --- with the exception of the more overheated factions of Islam.
