I see..so if I preface my comments, "lead me to believe", I can posit just about anything such as "you did or did not" as an accusation of something?

Or if I say, "if you had such a revelation (as you describe) you would take such and such an action? I can predict what someone else WOULD do, based upon MY thoughts?

And, "Hence your actions are not the same as your word" is NOT calling someone's veracity into question?

Very confusing. I'm sure some of us will have to bookmark this exchange for future use.

I admit, I'm still confused, but thanks for your efforts.

When in doubt whether a post is “making it personal” or not - minimize or eliminate the use of pronouns such as “you.”

You peeear to be getting the hang of this. My phraseology has been critiqued by some as being needlessly obtuse, but as a student of meaning and English, I have discovered that saying something without actually saying it is an art form, don't you think?
