I rarely hear him teaching of salvation

Osteen's calling is to be a Pastor, which is a ministry primarily to those already saved. His calling to to help Christians grow. The problem is many "Pastors" preach the salvation message every Sunday to people already saved who need disparately to grow.

Good point. My son and his wife came back to church because they liked his teachings. I will always be grateful for that. NO ONE can judge Osteen’s influence. Only God knows what he has accomplished for the Kingdom.

Perhaps both Osteen and you should go back and read what a shepherd is required to do. He is to find the lost sheep. You might also want to read that pastors and leaders are held to a higher standard than lay people. Sorry, but Osteen doesn't fit the Biblical definition of a pastor.
