Bella --- opening this weekend in I guess 29 cities --- is a wonderful movie but hard to describe. Deceptively simple: it's one day in the life of a cook (with a troubled past) and a waitress (with an uncertain future)who are not a "couple" -- oops, gotta go now but here's some background that was already posted on FR:

This movie is as a magician saying to the audience, “Look there (thinking: while I do this here without you noticing)”. The movie would be put on the Index for the reason the woman, “Nina”, became pregnant out of wedlock; but, then, if she behaved morally in the first place, the movie would not have been made.
