That can't be right. I'm sure the second coming happened in 1848 ... or was it 1914 ("Millions now living will never die!", except that almost all of them are now dead) ... or maybe 1874 ...
No man knows the day or the hour.
No man knows the day or the hour.
The only "signs of the times" apparent today are folks running around making the same wild predictions on Jesus return/Armageddon as the Millerites in 1843, the JW in 1914, and Hal Lindsey, Edgar Whisenant, and Chuck Smith in 1981/1988.
No man knows the day or the hour.
The Bible doesn't end in Acts and pick up again in Hebrews...There's a whole bunch of stuff in between...
Hey, wasn't it your church that fiddled with the calander???
Wasn't it your church that didn't like a time period of history (around 1000 AD) being called the 'Dark' Ages so they changed it to the "Middle' Ages???
So what waa it the "Middle" of????
If 0 is the beginning of the age, and 1000 is the MIDDLE of the age, then 2000 must be the End of the Age, eh??? (according to your church, that is)
Just sayin'...
