Can’t you make an appointment for Confession? or just show up at the rectory and ask the priest to hear your confession? I suppose I could, but our parish priest is already cruelly overworked, and I just can't bring myself to impose upon him further — though he would surely oblige me if I were to make such a request. I wish we had another priest in the parish to help him with his workload — including hearing Confessions.
