Thanks, NYer. I wondered about that. The Melkites and the Ukrainians use the Orthodox rubrics but they also use the DL of +John Chrysostomos whereas the Maronite Divine Liturgy appears to be more Novus Ordo in form (if not in language!)Do you know if there is any move afoot to revise the rubrics of confession to an older Maronite form?

I have heard nothing about this whatsoever. For now, the Patriarch and his bishops are gradually implementing the changes agreed upon at the Synod held 2 years ago.

IMHO, the Patriarch has weightier matters on his mind right now. He traveled to the Vatican a few weeks ago. This is what he was apparently seeking.
