Are you saying that it is only the Catholic Church that has to resort to pictures, these days? This is not a Catholic Country. Most people here have a non-Catholic heritage. Many don't practice their faith, just as is the case for Catholics. Do you suppose that the level of catechetics in non-Catholic denominations is so uniformly reliable that all non-Catholics can explain the nature of the Trinity from biblical source material only. No diagrams allowed? You know that there are tens of millions of non-Catholic Christians who couldn't even begin. C'mon, the "steering wheel" diagram is quite old, quite concise, quite understandable, and therefore quite useful. What, exactly, is wrong with employing it?

C'mon, the "steering wheel" diagram is quite old, quite concise, quite understandable, and therefore quite useful. What, exactly, is wrong with employing it? It's hardly persuasive. Ask a Mormon or a Jehovah's Witness just how convincing they find it. Why should anyone believe it?
