The entire bible is testimony to God’s plan to bring about redemption.
In the Old Testament we see that redemption planned and prophesied.
In the New Testament we see the advent of the Savior and His message of Good News.
Jesus selected His own apostles and told us that He prayed for them, but also “for those who believe in Me through their word.” In saying that, he affirmed THEIR apostolic writings and none other.
Therefore, any later writings do not carry the seal of His own words and teachings as related by eyewitnesses of His glory.
They are made up words....made up by men.
Remember, there are more writings from the same time period by the same people, and the books in the bible were not decided on untill much later.
