the rest is not of what you finally get around to saying Make up your confused little mind: do I 'leave stuff out' or just SAY it in a way that offends your tender sensibilities?

Can you tell us why he used that example with his mother, it is important. Now you want ME to be a mindreader, too??
If ol' JS didn't leave a clue as to why he told his momma that, I guess you guys will STILL have an answer; somehow.

Probably tired and typing faster (or slower) than thought processes work.
I canNOT believe some of the stuff that comes off of MY fingers at times. Not only misspellings, but completely different words than I was thinking I had typed!

The Smithism contradictions to the B of M show just how absurd the religion is, yet the apologists do not see the contradictions because, as you wisely said, they cannot afford to else the 'faith' would crumble like the empty house of heretical cards it is.There are other houses...
We have a lady in our church that was in Jimmy Jones church in Indianapolis (before he moved to California and then Guyana.)

By your beliefs, did God create the Christ part of himselfChrist, that is to say, the Second Person of the Triune Deity has always been Divine. It is Mormonism that teaches that Jesus Christ was a created being.
, or was Christ a part of God all along?
Christ, or rather the Second Person of the Triune Deity has never been "part" of Deity, which implies a division of Deity, but has always, Eternally been Fully Divine, with no division, nor separation of the Triune Deity.

Then I will see if your way of responding is better then Elsie's. So I do not go toward another wrong church, which church(s) should I be looking at?As I said before, there are many fine Bible adhering churches. As far as a personal recommendation goes, I would suggest a Presbyterian Church in America congregation, but the main thing to be mindful of is whether a church adheres to the essential Biblical doctrines that clearly define Christianity, such as the Deity of Christ, the humanity of Christ, the Atonement of Christ being a full payment for the debt owed to God for sin by which Christ completely purchased the Redemption of His sheep through His Sacrifice, the Triune Nature of God, as well as a few others.
Would you like the name of one in your area?

some of the Mormon hating people Mormon haters have said. If someone won't fall for your straw man, call them names. Oft used tactic by the "mormon lovers" here.
Exactly, when the argument holds no water, demonize the Christians and play the victim, just as the Mormon religion teaches.

"...truth is loved in such a way that those who love some other thing want it to be the truth, and, precisely because they do not wish to be deceived, are unwilling to be convinced that they are deceived." -- St. Augustine Too long for a tagline...sighhhh.

They are JUDGING someone by his RELIGION!!!
How very ANTI of them! I guess it's OK if you are them...But no one DARES to claim the right to vote according to a candidate's religion.
..seems to me that denying someone a job so they can feed their family might be just a TAD more bigoted.

You could use the shortened version: “... because they do not wish to be deceived, are unwilling to be convinced that they are deceived.” — St. Augustine

Well, considering that you only believe in less than half of the New Testament, you would tend to be rather untrustworthy yourself.
