Actually, of the religious texts he mentions, they are all wisdom literature. They just aren’t all qually wise. And I hope you didn’t stop reading right there, because the next paragraph starts with, “The bible also aims to make people wise, BUT IT DOES SO MUCH MORE.”

IOW, he’s recognizing a commonality, but he’s mitigating against people using reductionism to equate all the books.
