When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out that God is all you need.
Take 60 seconds and give this a shot! All you do is simply say the following small prayer for the person who sent you this.
Father, God bless all my friends in whatever it is that You know they may be needing this day! And may their life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as h e/ she seeks to have a closer relationship with you. Amen.
Then send it on to five other people, including the one who sent it to you. Within hours you caused a multitude of people to pray for other people. Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your life.

I remember a few years ago there was the one about how you shouldn’t deny Christ, and if you believe in him to pass the e-mail along to five people, if you don’t you are denying Christ.. it was initiated by a famous spammer who got millions of e-mail addresses that way.

I’m a new Christian, and am just trying to keep God’s word out there. I just see this as a way of helping the more of lost come to know His word, and hopefully develop an interest in Him.

I guess I don’t really see it as spam....hopefully, this will introduce a great portion of people to prayer, and introduce them to God.
Just trying to use it as an opportunity to witness, nothing else...

While I appreciate your zeal, the best way to be a witness for Christ is not to spam your friends with chain mail, but to simply find a way to personally share with them what Christ has done for you and to live the kind of life that will be a light to those to whom you come in contact with.
God will open the doors for you to be used by him. But not every door is opened by God. Sometimes those doors are opened by the enemy and other times they are forced open by us in our zeal to "just do something".
Be sure that when you step out in faith that God is leading, otherwise you might fall into a ditch.

A hearty AMEN!! Some of these chains don't even need to send out cookies. Just having your email address sent to 100,000 people you don't really know is enough. I get very upset when a friend or relative has done this to me.
It's God's business to convict the lost. It's our job to be faithful. Keep this in perspective and it will serve you well. It took me 30 years to learn this.
What was your hurry?
If you want to witness to your friends, spam chainmail is not the way to do it. Find a local church that teaches Evangelism Explosion.
