Please remember my pastor, Fr. Elie Kairouz, and his brother, Colonel Aziz Kairouz, in your prayers tonight. He is serving in the Lebanese Army and was shot by an Al-Qa'eda sniper today. The bullet pierced his liver, intestines and exited from the other side of his body. He is presently in intensive care but the medical professionals believe he will recover. Abouna was so upset when he got the news and wanted desperately to be with him and his family but could not leave because of all the other pressing issues going on in the parish.
