Preterists believe that the events described in Matthew 24:134 were fulfilled in the events leading up to and including the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. Are Preterists the ones whose views are discussed in the article? Or is that a different interpretation. It seems different.

That view holds that there is a future vengeance still to fall upon physical Israel. Two-thirds of those living in the land will be killed. This event happens after the "rapture" of the Church.

For the preterist view, look at the last couple paragraphs of DeMar's piece. Be aware, also, that there are a variety of different views all called "preterism", some less orthodox than others.
