Burr, I AM thinking of the country. There are those of us who were inside the Mormon Church and no longer are. Some post mormons are athiests, some Christians, some are found almost everywhere. But everywhere they are found, they will tell you how dangerous is the cult of Mormonism.
You don’t have to believe us, that is your perogative, but to tell us to “take our heads out” is extremely narrow minded. It is often post-Mormons who will tell you exactly what Mormonism is.
Mormons therefore must portray us as bitter, liars, sinners, weak-willed, or making money from anti-Mormonism. If you look into my life, or greyfoxx29, Don Carlos, Utah Binger; P-Marlowe, degaston and more, you will find that we are just as good, just as conservative, just as productive as those Mormons who wish to paint us as villians for daring to speak out about our experiences. Closing your mind to what we might have to say just because we knew Mormonism and left it, is narrow minded.
...you are a trip CC! LOL
The most sad thing about this is that folks who have developed an informed point of view based on serious study and reason, get kicked in the teeth by certain holier than thou types, just for telling their own truth; their own perspective.
If one tries to point out a few actual faults of the Mormon point of view, we become bigots. Blind believers really are starting to bore me.
Now if Mitt had the courage to actually admit a few things that he truly knows, well.................He could say he was “brainwashed”
