>>You may accept or reject, but I will speak. Once I speak, I discharge my duty. <<
Spreading false truths and myths (corrected many times) and assuming a person’s intentions is not “speaking”. It’s lying to make a point. You do not know what is in my heart and sweeping generalizations, falsehoods, or slander does not make it right. A big person stands corrected, not stands ground against facts.
But that too, is between you and God. Your self-righteousness is something you will deal with in the afterlife.
It’s funny how the non-Catholics beat us with “facts” and either argue until they look silly, cut out or ignore when they can’t answer. (buying candles is an example with you) Hey, isn’t that what the article is about?
So have your elitist attitude about how you worship. Pharisees are the people who come in and tell YOU what you are doing wrong. I’m gonna let the posts stand for themselves on who that is.
I say what I witness with my own eyes, and what I read with my own eyes of the reams of church doctrine regarding Mary posted on these threads. It all leads to an obvious conclusion.
You seem to think worshiping mere humans and images is OK so long as you don't think you are doing it in your heart, or church doctrine says that's not really what it is. I guess fornication or witchcraft is OK so long as your heart's not in it, yes?
