You made the prior statement:

I will say that we have a Catholic crucifix up on the wall at my house, it was put there by my father and has a small communion kit in it. It isn’t coming down anytime soon. I also keep a medallion in my front right pocket. Why? I like it being there. We Christians have a Spiritual Faith, for that I make no apologies.

Then your next post you say:

Does your crucifix quack like the duck you speak of? Using your own logic are you not practicing idolatry?

Of course not, the crucifix is simple and plain, it is not adorned with wreaths or flowers, and it is not the focus of worship.

It is not taken down of feast days and paraded around the neghborhood, nor is it constantly touched in the hope that it would produce a miracle.
