To: Dr. Eckleburg
You see Dr. Eckleburg, here is a problem that I have. The pleromaof Christ, from what I understand, is like unto a great fountain, a veritable Niagara Falls of Grace and Mercy and all the other attributes of a loving God, a veritable uncontainable plenitude, if you will. I would think that the earth alone can't hold it all, it must flow down from heaven.

Like catching the HS in a cup, capturing the Pleroma would be an impossibility.

Further we know that all Christian believers share in the fulness, and this we know from the word of God. The Pleroma does not issue forth from the Pope's throne in Rome anymore than the rivers of eden do.

Nothing on earth can contain the Pleroma. Believers "share" in it, just as if it were a fountain bubbling over them. No one "owns" it, there is nothing in Scripture that says Christ entrusted it to any one person, place or thing.

So when someone says, see here is Christ-- for there is his head and there is his body-- all under that one roof, we have no other recourse but to think what Paul said, "Believe it not".

Another problem that I have is nowhere nowhere! in the bible does it say that anyone but Christ effects salvation. No rite, no ediface, no works, no body but Christ!

So you see, I can believe God or I can believe men. I could believe the Greek philosophers if they were not men! However, I must believe God.
