The OC teaches that when Adam sinned against God, he (Adam) introduced death (not sin) into the world. All men inherit death; the Atonement was not necessary to atone for "original sin," because there is no "original sin" to the OC. Exactly. No original sin and no hell, both concepts accepted by the RCC.
And most peculiarly of all, the OC says the ransom of Christ was paid to Satan, and not to God! I still haven't gotten past that one.
Certainly the RCC is more Biblically literate than that.

Exactly. No original sin and no hell, both concepts accepted by the RCC. Yep, and Augustine would have some pretty harsh words with them if he could see what they have become.

I don’t understand. The Catholics all hold to original sin and hell. It is in the Bible and developed in the early Church.
