I had a couple so called conservatives on this post trying to dispute the verifiable link between Darwinism and eugenics and then one of the actually had the nerve to say that I was a eugenicist.

The unfortunate fact is that some conservatives (especially in the early and mid 20th century) were racists and their views are inexcusable.

Thanks for the link. I'm still trying to wrap my head around Jesse Helms advocating eugenics. Does anyone know for sure if this is true or just a slur by his enemies?
