30-foot RV adorned with advertising about controversial “cash-for-birth- control” program about to visit 8 North Eastern states beginning July 12.
HARRISBURG, N.C. — North Carolina-based Project Prevention, which offers cash incentives of $300 to drug addicts and/or alcoholics to receive long-term or permanent birth control, will bring its 30-foot motor home to 8 North Eastern States. To date, the program has paid 2,200 participants, responsible for nearly 10,000 pregnancies prior to entering the program to obtain long-term or permanent birth control. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Project Prevention will visit 8 states from July 12-19 on its North Eastern RV Tour.

I wonder if the mobile home went to Black neighborhoods in the other cities, as they did in Albany, NY.
A Black activist in Albany, NY was very angry about this.
