So what should we be doing with all these unwanted babies? It’s an interesting problem but how about some proposed solutions?

So what should we be doing with all these unwanted babies? Its an interesting problem but how about some proposed solutions? American couples who cannot have children of their own routinely spend tens of thousands of dollars to adopt babies from China and Eastern Europe. Prior to this, many of these same couples had spent tens of thousands of dollars on unsuccessful fertility treatments and IVF procedures.
The biggest reason for this: THERE ARE ESSENTIALLY NO BABIES PUT UP FOR ADOPTION IN THE UNITED STATES.

There are childless couples all over the country ready, willing and able to adopt children. The Albuquerque Journal (my local newspaper) has ads in the classifieds almost every Sunday from people who want to adopt children. There are many Christian adoption agencies all over the country who have qualified couples waiting to adopt. There isn't any "unwanted" babies.
