Actually, he didn’t say they’d make it to heaven.

He said they were defective and not really churches. That means that the folks who attend there are less likely to get the “real deal.”

Without the real thing, they’ll spend a long time in hell or it’s kissin’ cousin, Ma Purgatory.

BTW, I entirely reject the Pope’s position. It is borne of aggressive denominationalism.

The same is for Catholics. Are you saying the Pope should think non-Catholics are better off?

I consider Purgatory to be a kissing cousin to Heaven because you end up there rather than Hell.
