Outstanding. This has Benedict's fingerprints all over it. I had always been sceptical of the appointment of Levada to the CDF, but was informed just last week by a knowlegable source that Levada's appointment was based purely on a long and trusting friendship, and that Benedict has not relinquished control of the CDF. Levada is merely a figurehead. This would seem to corroborate that opinion.

I never imagined that it would be possible for this pope to outshine his predecessor. It would appear that is happening.

The next time I am at a Catholic bookstore, I think I will purchase the biggest picture I can of His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, so I can give him proper worship. :o) He hee.
