But you do need kneelers.
I think they mean "for the unity of Christians" and yes, that means Protestants and other Christians.
For the women and children, at least. They do make portable ones. It would be cheaper to buy some of those rather than put in a rail.

I got it on good authority from a conservative Jewish freeper that she doesn’t mind if we pray for her at all. :)
That’s what I thought, I wasn’t sure if it was a translation error or a typo.
Our church just decided to remove all kneelers because they were in a state of disrepair and too expensive to fix, evidently.
That’s good to know. I think the American bishops need to know this.
It's funny (too me) that you mention that. My parish, a poor innercity parish where the kneeler pads are so old and hard they are now asking us to all pony up $100 for new pads. Since we are a parish, the only one in the diocese, with the Tridentine Mass, I'll kick in my part. Can't imagine what full blown kneelers, not pads, would cost.
