If God’s plan is eternal life with Him, then it’s still a great plan regardless of how you go, isn’t it?

My point is that Mr. Osteen's message is tied to a notion that earthly happiness and prosperity are clear signs of God's favor and that joy can be relatively easily attained on earth: "Your best life now!"

This message creates serious difficulties for believers who go through crushing emotional and financial blows in the here and now.
