Thank you for the ping and especially the alert to the Holy Father’s message. Would you tell me, does the Holy Father write these all on his own or does he have a staff prepare them on the topic of his choosing?
I don't know, but I would guess that he writes them himself. He is a prolific writer and patristic scholar. Before his election he wanted to retire to lead a scholarly life of reading and writing.
