Pakistan: CHRISTIAN Gang Raped for NOT Bowing to Allah

Because he would not give up his allegiance to Christ as Savior, converting to Allah, the victim was raped through the night by Muslim attackers, per Christianity Today.

To make matters worse, Pakistan may pass a law making it a crime to convert from Islam to Christianity, the crime punishable by death. If the convert is female, she will be given a life sentence in prison.

If this becomes reality, it will be particularly difficult for Christian missionaries to speak of the gospel in Pakistan.

Zealot Muslims are intent on using Pakistan as a showcase for their Islam World Rule claim. Raping this Christian is one of their visuals providing media and community that they will go to any lengths to see through their barbarism.

“The victim is seriously injured and unable to move, Release International’s partner in Pakistan has reported. However, according to the Centre for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS) the police are keeping him locked up and have denied him medical treatment.

“According to CLAAS, the Christian was invited to a game of cricket. A quarrel broke out and he was beaten up. Later that evening, the father of one of the Muslims asked the Christian over to his house.

“Joseph Francis, the National Director of CLAAS, explained: ‘When he entered the drawing room, he found it filled with unknown people. They began to beat him severely. They threatened him with dire consequences if he did not accept Islam. After his refusal, they committed sodomy with him one by one for the whole night.’

“Francis said that they later threw their victim out on the street unconscious.”

Many such macabre incidents occur but go unreported. Frequently police and media turn their heads the other way, thus permitting torture of Christians to continue. The attacks against Christians are increasing, per Release International’s CEO Andy Dipper.

“’We are receiving reports of rape, abductions and forced conversion. Pakistan is becoming an increasingly difficult place for Christians to live.’”

The worldwide church is asked to intercede on behalf of believers in persecuting countries.

Those Christians who stand against the devil Islam suffer worldwide, as knowing believers are well aware.

Their churches are burnt to the ground. The fanatic Muslim mob saw to it. Zealot Islamics were then going to haul off Christians to the mosque, forcing them to becoming Muslims.

It’s going on worldwide though the secular press gives it scant coverage. Nevertheless, it is daily fact. God knows. Heaven takes note. Christians in free countries must intercede by taking earnest prayer note.

“All three evangelical church buildings in the village, The Full Gospel, the Lutheran and Mennonite churches were burned and destroyed. This is the result of a March 2006 Muslim mob rampage in the northeastern part of the country.

“Neighbors reported that local police provided an accelerant to burn the churches, and urged the attackers to work quickly before federal police arrived to intervene.”

What refuge do Christians have when the police work in concert with the criminals? None but divine intervention.

“Werkena, 76, was badly injured in the attack. Werkena is the gatekeeper at the Lutheran church. During the well-organized assault, 300 people had gathered at the church, set it on fire, and threw rocks at Werkena, who went to hide in a room near the church.

“’They not only burned the church, they started to burn the room I was in,’ Werkena said. ‘The fire was all over my clothes. They thought I was dead.’

“Werkena had his right hand and left arm broken during the brutal attack. His left arm was so badly damaged, it may have to be amputated. He was also beaten on the head.

“He said, ‘They knew that while I was beaten harshly, I was not dead. They brought swords, and while they were preparing to slaughter me on my neck, the police came in and rescued me.’ Werkena knows it was God who saved his life.

“’I believe it’s God who rescued my life,’ he asserted. ‘They were beating me with a stick and also with stones. There were many people in the compound, but God was overshadowing me and covering me by His hand. Otherwise, I would have died.’”

What prayer support do such persecuted believers have globally? Certainly not from the apostate liberals within Christendom. Satan has diverted their energies to defend killing womb babies and honoring homosexual “marriage.”

All the while persecuted biblical believers are standing alongside the gospel, putting their earthly existences on the line. Biblical believers in freedom countries know this and therefore lift these brothers and sisters high on the prayer lists.

“Now Werkena is back at work and says he hopes the Lord gives him 76 more years to serve Him.”

All the more biblical disciples must give out the gospel for others to become converts to Christ as personal Savior. The biblical community must grow and grow. It is needed desperately in an increasingly confused and immoral time.

“Abubakkar was an Eritrean soldier and a Muslim before coming to Christ in 2000. He came to Jesus after reading the Bible following his capture by the Ethiopian military. He was put in a prison camp. He says he had been searching for truth for many years, and finally found that in Christ.

“Eighteen-year-old Almaz had two dreams about Jesus, and along with a testimony and changed life from her brother, also left Islam to become a Christian in 2004.

“Up until the mob attacks, their Muslim father, who had tolerated their Christian faith, turned on them. They fled to another village.

“’When we were chased out, we went directly to the church. We were by ourselves. We were very lonely. That was painful,’ Abubakkar recalled.

“Abubakkar and Almaz have since returned to their village. Abubakkar said, ‘We are very fearful. Our friends who are fundamentalist Muslims and our parents threaten us, threatening to kill us, to eliminate us. Each and every hour, every minute, we are living in fear.’”

Islam World Rule!

That is the zealot Muslim war cry. The Christians stand in the way. They must be slaughtered. Cowardly Muslims must also be eliminated. To wipe out the infidels is to be loyal to Allah, thus offering that deity offerings of blood on a daily basis.

“Abubakkar and Almaz are no longer without a place to live, thanks to The Voice of the Martyrs Canada, for which they are very grateful.

“’My happiness and joy is so great to know there is somebody who cares for me, who prays for me,’ Almaz said.

Full Gospel pastor Alaling says in spite of threats of further attacks, it’s important and encouraging for Christians here that these church buildings are reconstructed.

“The Lutheran church has been rebuilt. The Mennonite and Full Gospel churches were in the process of putting up new structures when we visited.

“One of the positive outcomes of the persecution is the unity of the church. The three local congregations often come together for joint services and fellowship.

“Pastor Alaling said, ‘After the persecution, the love of the believers for each other increased. Everybody is concerned about each other. “What would happen to my brother this time? Is he okay?” We go and visit believers, so our love has increased.’”

“And while there is concern about future attacks, these followers of Christ know that the joy of the Lord is their strength.”

Pastor Zakarias Abraham plus eighty of his church members of the Mherete Yesus Evangelical Presbyterian Church in the city of Asmara have been jailed by Muslims.

They were attending worship. After the service, these Christians were hauled off to their cells per Voice of the Martyrs Canada via VCM/MNN.

Eritrea is a country in East Africa bordered by Sudan in the west, Ethiopia in the south, and Djibouti in the southeast.

This country used to be divided almost evenly between Muslims and Christians. Now Muslims have Islam World Rule as their prime priority; therefore infidels must be eliminated.

“Following the closure of all the evangelical and charismatic churches in the nation on May 17, 2002, the Mehrete Yesus Evangelical Presbyterian Church was one of the few Eritrean churches allowed to function since it fulfilled the registration formalities demanded by the government.

“In addition to his duties as a pastor of the church, Pastor Zekarias Abraham has also served as the head of the Eritrean Evangelical Alliance since his predecessor, Dr. Kiflu Gebremeskel, was arrested in May 2004.

“The Eritrean government portrayed the arrests as part of a policy to restrict ‘unregistered religious worship.’ With constant danger present for believers, the ‘chilling effect’ is growing. When asked what they need most, Penner says the Christians want only one thing: ‘Please pray for us.’ This is the only thing that’s going to make a big difference in that country.”

A similar situation is taking place in Iraq. Christians are being slain by Islamic enthusiasts or they flee the country before being murdered. Secular media hardly reports this carnage. It’s usually treated as “just another Christian story.”

All the while, the theologically liberal segment of Christendom wastes away in apostasy by defending homosexual practice. Instead supporting that which is abhorrent to God, these churches should be interceding on behalf of the persecuted believers worldwide.

Theologically biblical congregations continue to pray for their fellow disciples globally. They have no time to waste on defending evil and calling it “good.” They must give their energies to the Great Commission spoken by Christ, that is, to go into all the world to preach the gospel.

“The Eritrean government is not open, in many cases, to international pressure, to letter writing campaigns, to advocacy. They simply ignore what the rest of the world is saying.”

“Pray for the release of these prisoners and the approximately 2000 other Christians presently in detention in Eritrea.

“Pray that they will encouraged by the examples of other men and women who have remained faithful in the face of terrible opposition (Hebrews 12:1-3). Pray that the government of Eritrea will stop its campaign against Christians and recognize the importance of religious freedom,” per Voice of the Martyrs appeal.

BAGHDAD: CHRISTIANS FLEE KILLING MUSLIMS

The sanctuaries are empty. Christians take seriously the threats. Muslims will slay them if they don’t vacate Iraq. Therefore, countless numbers are leaving and have left, per Liz Sly of Tribune News.

“’They are talking about security plans and bringing peace, but nothing arrived in Dora. There are no rules, no government and no government forces,’ said Bishop Shlimon Warduni, auxiliary bishop of the Chaldean Patriarchate, the ancient Christian sect to which most of the Christians in the Dora area belong. ‘This is a full-scale persecution. In all of Iraq’s history we didn’t face a situation like this.’”

Secular media is not giving this the coverage that it deserves. It is regarded by most as “just another Christian story.”

“Church leaders estimate that half of Dora’s Christian community has already fled the notoriously violent Sunni extremist stronghold in southwestern Baghdad, a community of 500,000 in which Sunnis, Shiites and Christians once lived alongside one another. Shiites have already been expelled from all but the southernmost edge of the neighborhood. Although Christians had been individually targeted, usually for ransom, as a community they had largely been ignored, residents say.

“Among those who fled is Ayleen Georges, 40, whose husband was kidnapped in early April by Sunni insurgents. They later apologized, told him they had abducted the wrong man, and let him go. Ten days later, after the edict appeared, they kidnapped him again.

“He is too shaken to talk about being abducted, but she described how the gunmen repeatedly told him he would be killed unless he converted to Islam or left his home within 24 hours.

“’They said to him, “Why haven’t you become a Muslim?” They told him to leave within 24 hours and they said we had to leave all our property and possessions behind, or we would be killed.’”

Islam World Rule is the postulate of zealot Muslims, even if it means their own lives sacrificed in suicide bombings, even it means offering their boys and girls upon Allah’s altar as slain children for the cause.

Muslims believe that even if one Christian lives in a neighborhood, that infidel must be slaughtered. That must take place even if scores of Muslims living in the same area will lose their lives as well. The sacrifice is worth the extermination of one Christian. It is an insane cultic motive that drives the extremist Muslims.

If the so-called moderate Muslims speak against the zealots, the moderates are threatened. In Canada a group of moderates tried to quell the zealot threats only to have their own lives put on the line, their houses and vehicles burnt. So much for the moderate Muslim impact upon the civil world.

“Sanharib Benuel, 23, left his home with his mother and brother last week after fliers spelling out the threat were posted on the walls around his neighborhood. He hoped to trick the Sunni insurgents by packing his suitcases, leaving a Sunni neighbor in his house, and then arranging for another neighbor to transport the suitcases to a relative’s home the following day.

“But within hours, he said, gunmen came to the house and ordered the neighbor to leave, telling him: ‘This is a Christian house, and it has been confiscated.’ They then ransacked the house and stole its contents, said Benuel, who is now living in a church in another Baghdad neighborhood and is working at the church as a guard.

“Abdullah al-Noufali, head of the Christian Endowment, a state body that oversees Iraq’s churches, said he had heard of many instances in which local Sunni residents had offered to help or protect their threatened Christian neighbors. He blames outsiders—the Al Qaeda-affiliated insurgents who have converged on Dora over the past three years, turning it into one of Baghdad’s most notorious and violent extremist strongholds.

“Christians are fleeing in droves from the southern Baghdad district of Dora after Sunni insurgents told them they would be killed unless they converted to Islam or left, according to Christian leaders and families who fled.

“Similar episodes of what has become known as sectarian cleansing raged through Baghdad neighborhoods last year as Sunnis drove Shiites from Sunni areas and Shiites drove Sunnis from Shiite ones, but this marks the first apparent attempt to empty an entire Baghdad neighborhood of Christians.”
