Nowhere in the Hebrew Scriptures does it say that God is omnipotent.

Hmmm...I just perused Job 38...v.4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?...

"Omnipotent" seems about right to me.

I don't read Hebrew, so I cannot say whether the Hebrew scriptures apply the term omnipotent to God. But my English Bible refers to the "Almighty God" (Gen. 17:1, Rev 1:8) and "God Almighty" (Gen 28:3). Assuming that the KJV translators knew their business, the Hebrew scriptures apparently do say that God is almighty, which would seem to be the same as omnipotent.
