The final generation before the Redemption will “have the face of a dog” (i.e. be morally bankrupt, cowardly, etc.). I’d say we have gone a long way toward qualifying for that - at least at the top. Peres exemplifies that - he’s a traitor if ever there was one. Oslo was his deal, one that he surprised Rabin with (not that Rabin was the greatest, either, but he was snookered on that one).

I can’t wait for the Winograd Commission’s final report in a couple of months - maybe then FoOlmert will be forced out. Of course, if Lamo Livni succeeds him there won’t be any improvement. Israel needs to riot, to completely shut down in order to force the Knesset to call for new elections. This cancer at the top MUST be forced out.

Can anyone explain to me the messed up system that constitutes Israel’s judiciary? Who appoints these unaccountable leftists to the Supreme Court? Can they be impeached or otherwise removed? Why do they have such incredible power over political and military matters? Most of all, why does the Israeli public put up with such a corrupt system?

I'm as in the dark as you are about that one!
