Indeed. I assert that our most common idols are people. Some love themselves more than God, or perhaps their child, or spouse, lover, mom or dad, etc.

Yes. It has been so in my life . . . people . . .

They are so much more tangible and . . . SEEMINGLY accessible than supposedly distant God.

That perception . . . laying that perception aside and owning more fully and more comprehensively that The God of All Creation resides within . . . and is exceedingly accessible and Loves me more than I love myself . . .

That is still a work in progress.
