Tell me, which one is prattling mindlessly (and endlessly)?

Did you mean for that to be as funny as it was?

You still didn't get it right though. It has to last for at least ten minutes with the fork still in Grandpa's hand the while time!
[I know you said "and endlessly" but your brevity took the fullness out of it for those that haven't ever experienced it]

Yes, I was trying to be funny... with a point. Jesus’ point was you can pray for an hour and not cover the material as well as with the short, simple “Our Father.” If anybody is repeating or saying the Our Father mindlessly, that’s their problem. They’re not doing it right. Anybody who has ever tried to say that prayer and think about and mean every word of it knows that you can NOT do it in one repetition, nor two, nor three. It is DIFFICULT to pray that prayer and mean it.

My grandfather-in-law the Methodist minister said absolutely the longest grace before meals that I have ever heard. The food got cold!
