This simply says that a person desiring to join the Baptist Church must tell that he is saved. The Baptist Church then votes to determine whether the church thinks he is saved or not. They, deciding that he is, receive him into the church after baptism. Hence, he must confess that he is saved, that he is a member of the kingdom of God already, and then, he joins the Baptist Church. This being true, then it follows that a person can be a member of the kingdom of God, or body of Christ, or New Testament Church, before, and without belonging to the Baptist Church. Huh? Certainly isn't the way things are done at my Baptist church.

Huh? Certainly isn't the way things are done at my Baptist church. Please tell me how it is done in your Baptist Church? Yours maybe a exception.
