If you go back about 7 yrs you'll see that I have posted this prayer regularly and I still do. Whenever I believe I see satan at work, I invoke St. Michael. The Latin is because we may soon have more Latin in the liturgy again and I know very little Latin and on that same thread a Catholic poster with knowledge of Latin posted it with pronunciations so now I can learn it.

"that has to look at us to learn about God "

I don't understand this comment, are you saying that angels don't know God? In the Bible, they are God's messengers. There are angels praising God at His throne! If they don't know about God then how can He send them with a message?

As far as intermediaries, do you think that pure beings created by God cannot then pray to Him? Men were made a little lower than angels and you think that men can pray and God will listen but he won't listen to his other wonderful creations?

God is with us, and if God is with us then His angels and saints are also with us, we are not separated from God. You seem to give lip service to God as ever present while limiting him to your own capacity to understand. God is omnipotent and if he is with us, He IS with us and if His angels and saints are with Him then they are with us too.

Do you think that God couldn't have sent Lazuras back to warn the brothers? Do you think God couldn't have sent him to comfort? Only God knows the plan and we don't know the why of any action of God because we "see in a mirror dimly."

If you think that the archangels have no power then just look at satan unless you believe he has no power? Do you believe that you have no power for evil or good? If we do anything good it is not us but God working through us and if we claim anything else we are liars. Satan is still subject to God and God will defeat him just as we and the angels are. And using satan as an example, Angels also obviously have free will so even though Michael is an angel he has used his own free will to say yes to God and further God's kingdom. He has put himself at the service of God as many of us have and God can use him as well as He can use me or you or Paul or Peter. That is why we call him saint although we do realize that he's an angel and yes, it is pretty much a tradition but not one which is contradictory. Saint becomes an honorific title.

I asked a priest that question and he could not answer me.

OH MY!!!!!!! Are you telling me that there is a priest out there who doesn't know everything??? I'm shocked!!!!!!!!! I guess I'll just have to go to that 7/11 or that abandoned mall to find someone who knows ALL theology. In my opinion, if you can know all the theology of your faith then your faith is missing a lot. God has told us what we need to do to be saved and He has given us what we need to get through this life and into the next but He's way bigger than any Bible or what we can see on earth.

though the bible expressly commands men not to worship angels, people insist on it. I wonder who’s right, them or God?

Hebrews 1:1

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
