It’s your story and you are free to tell it however you wish. I completely understand you want to ignore the treatment Luther prescribed to those who didn’t believe as he did.

Luther was just as hard in his criticism of his fellow Germans who didn’t believe. Easy to overlook the entire context of his criticisms.
I don’t think you want to start pointing fingers at other religions and how they have treated the Jews. The Catholic church was horrible to the Jews for a lot longer than any other christian church body.
It is simply irrelevant, to the topic, you could start a thread explaining why the majority of the SS and Hitler were Catholics and your church never excommunicated them.

John Knox advocated killing Catholics. I had only vaguely heard of him referred to before today so I went and read some of his writings, he was an angry man.
