LOL, I did not know I had the power to do that (gates of hell and all that , you know) !
I grew up in the Methodist church, having both sets of grandparents as ministers. I never heard any discussion of other denominations there. But, I had cousins, other family members who were Baptist, some Pentecostals, etc. who brought up Catholicism in a bad way every chance they got. I dare say they preached more against the Church than they did for Jesus. Maybe you could answer some of that for me. I just never understood the anger.
You seem to have a hard time understanding people that have a passion for the truth and a desire/ call to share it.
Catholics are mired in false traditions and erroneous teachings, yet in that church there are men and women elect of God to be His adopted children. As a believer it is my responsibility to present the truth and the gospel and pray that God opens their ears and eyes to hear and believe.
Anger would desire harm to people or vengeance, it is love to desire Christ for others.

I should have used the word denigrate rather than popular phrasing for you to understand my meaning.
The criticism against the church that I heard from Protestants was just that, not preaching any sort of truth. As for those “truths”, they were always rumors based in ignorance.
So, why did you start out on this thread by laughing instead of preaching some truth?
