OK, I read the lyrics but fail to see the greatest sermon ever. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

It’s all up to interpretation. A few years ago I gave a second listen to “Lovesong” by The Cure and thought it was about Eucharistic Adoration. Now I can never go back to the figure ground this simple love song, and I like the tune even more to boot.
