Answer four questions:

  1. Is Jesus Christ the redeemer of the world?
  2. Are all Christians called to coöperate with his redemptive act, as spelled out, for example, in the Great Commission?
  3. Did Mary coöperate with Christ's redemptive act?
  4. Did she do so in a special way (beyond what you or I do), specifically by giving him the physical instrument of the redemption, his human body?

Yes, He alone.

No, we’re not.

No, she did not.

God fertilized one of her eggs and she nurtured Him, and loved Him. She herself contributed nothing to the work of redemption, which Scripture attributes to Jesus Christ alone (cf. Acts 4:12).
