Rule #2: Never, ever trust anyone who wants to treat you like six-year-old (unless you are one).

You're going to need to keep adding rules, one for seven year olds, one for eight year olds, etc. You're going to need to add rules for keeping bomb-making information away from pyromaniacs, killer-virus making information away from bio-terrorists, satanic ritual information away from those susceptible to such material, etc., etc., until your initial rule dies the death of a thousand qualifications. The Ethiopian eunuch was right: "How could I [understand the Scriptures] unless someone guides me?" (Acts 8:31) Those who, without a knowledgable guide would misinterpret the Scriptures and end up worse off than they started, are better off receiving the Scriptures only with the help of the guide, not apart from the guide.
