Former Gov. James E. McGreevey has started the process to become a priest in his newly adopted Episcopal faith and hopes to begin a three-year seminary program in the fall.

McGreevey, who often described himself as a devout Catholic while in public office, was officially received into the Episcopal religion on Sunday, at St. Bartholomew's Church in Manhattan, and is now part of the church's "discernment" phase that usually precedes any seminary work, said the Rev. He and Father Gene Robinson can talk things over at the priest conclaves. He and Father Gene have a lot in common. Both fathers, both gay, both couldn’t stay with their wives because their inclinations were too strong.

Nothing personal but how can such men counsel others about sinful behavior, or resisting sinful urges, or living a clean life, or other such things that troubled people may turn to clergy for counsel on????

Father Jim will be much in demand as a pre-marital counsellor for all those gay weddings the Episcopalians will be celebrating.

Don't know about what FR Episcopalians are doing, but our Continuing Anglican church has been growing.

As is ours! In our case we had to swim the New River.
