We all wear the crucifix, some of us silver, some of us gold.

I take the palm I get at Palm Sunday and fashion it into a cross and fix it to the inside of my front door. It stays there til before Ash Wednesday of the following year then I take it to church and give it to the priest to burn for ashes. Like recycling.
Also on the inside of every exit door of the house I have affixed a holy card of St Christopher. And on the inside of the front door I have an image of the Holy Face affixed.
I also recommend having the Sacred Heart officially enthroned in one’s home.
And by each door a holy water font.
