If you are not familiar with the Nestorian heresy you will not be familiar with the reason for the title Theotokos.
Christ is fully human and fully divine. “ The Divine Jesus entered the human body Mary gave birth to.” This is a complete misunderstandin of the incarnation. And I don’t know of any orthodox Protestant who holds to this view.
