One must receive the instruction on how to use a hammer. One may use a hammer as a screwdriver because that's the only use that he can find for it. But calling it a screwdriver doesn't make it one. Not everyone needs instruction on how to use a hammer...Just try it out...Hit a nail with a screwdriver...Then try a hammer...One will find the hammer fits the application even tho you may be instructed to use the screwdriver...
Same with the scripture...You compare scripture with scripture...God's word with God's word...You see what fits...If it don't fit, then you're wrong, not God...
If God's word says the Christian has Jesus within him/her, you find other scripture to confirm that...You don't go to a church authority that tells you 'it' will decide whether God's word is correct...

A difference in approach. You compare scripture with scripture to arrive at a conclusion. In a comparatively short amount of time, too. We use the whole Bible. Our Church has invested two millennia in furthering our understanding of God.
Nice to see that the voices have given you insight at a greater level of understanding and much quicker than us. A distinct advantage, I suppose.

And it helps to read the directions...
