Section 3- Above and Beyond
25.) Canonical Hours- The Jews, Greeks and Romans divided the hours between sunrise and sunset into 12 parts. The Jews devoted certain of those intervals to prayer as described in the Old Testament. The Apostles continued the Old Testament Practice. They came to be called Canonical Hours. Originally there were 9 Canonical Hours. Since then, two have been combined and one abolished. Name 5 of the original 9 Canonical Hours.
26.) Covenant Worship- The History of Salvation is about Gods relationship with men, His creation. At different points in Salvation History, God made covenants with specific people. Name the six covenants and who they were made with.
27.) Briefly describe the transformation from the first Covenant through the Everlasting Covenant.

I don't think gold at Easter time is unusual at all. Gold is also allowed at Christmas, Trinity Sunday and other holidays such as the presentation and the transfiguration.
No, that would really confuse them. I left gold out for the same reason. About half the class at one time or another have been Altar Servers.
Every year on Gaudete Sunday, our parochial vicar passes some sort of comment about "This brother does NOT look good in PINK!" He is a young black man, massively built, a real go-getter and on fire for Christ. He really woke this parish up! Even has his own radio show . . .
