Truly, God gives all of us who receive Him the power to be filled with the Holy Spirit – but not everyone asks:

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. – John 1:12-13

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? – Luke 11:13

As for me, I cannot any longer imagine life without The Holy Spirit.

Amen, AG. Neither can I. My life was devoid of so much before him. He teaches me so much about Jesus and myself, too.
